Account Deletion Request

This page allows you to request permanent deletion of your EzyPOS account and all associated data in compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and other data privacy laws.

⚠️ Important: This Action Cannot Be Undone

Deleting your account will permanently remove:

Your account credentials and profile information
All business data including menu items and pricing
Complete sales history and transaction records
All daily and monthly reports
Customer receipts and billing data
Any active subscriptions (no refunds for current period)

This data cannot be recovered once deleted.

Deletion Process

To delete your account, please follow these steps:

If you cannot access the app, fill out the form below to request account deletion:

I understand that deleting my account is permanent and cannot be undone. All my data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

I confirm that I want to permanently delete my EzyPOS account and all associated data.

ℹ️ What Happens Next?

Immediate: Your account will be marked for deletion and you will lose access to the app
Within 24 hours: You will receive a confirmation email to verify the deletion request
7-day grace period: You can cancel the deletion request by contacting support@ezypos.in
After 7 days: Deletion becomes irreversible
Within 30 days: All your data will be permanently deleted from our servers

Data Retention

While we will delete all your data, please note:

Some data may be retained for legal or regulatory compliance (e.g., tax records, fraud prevention)
Anonymized analytics data may be retained for improving our service
Backup copies may exist for up to 90 days before being permanently purged

Your Rights Under GDPR

As per GDPR and data protection regulations, you have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
Rectification: Correct any inaccurate data
Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data (Right to be Forgotten)
Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
